Day 1: Arrival Day – Kilimanjaro Airport – Arusha
Upon arrival at the airport (Kilimanjaro or Arusha), you will be met by HODOPHILE Safari’s representative, who will drive you to your accommodation in Arusha for an overnight stay while waiting for your adventures to start on the following day.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Early morning after breakfast at around 8:00am, you will have a short briefing before you depart to Tarangire National Park. The park, with its endless tree savannah, including the impressive baobab trees and seasonal marshes, is also home to the largest population of elephants in northern Tanzania. You are also likely to spot giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, gnus, and other types of antelopes and gazelles. Your guide will open the roof of the vehicle for excellent wildlife viewing. Hot lunch will be served at around 12:30pm at the picnic site, and after that you will continue to explore this incredible park.
In the evening after exploration, you will drive straight to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Karatu–Ngorongoro–Central Serengeti
After breakfast at your lodge in Karatu, you will depart around 8:00 am and begin your journey toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Your route takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you'll stop briefly at a breathtaking crater viewpoint to admire the vast Ngorongoro Crater from above. This stop provides an excellent photo opportunity and a chance to learn about the unique ecosystem from your guide. While you won’t descend into the crater today, the journey continues with an en-route game drive across the conservation area, where you may spot wildlife such as zebras, wildebeests, and possibly elephants or Maasai herders with their cattle. As you approach the Serengeti, the landscape opens up into endless savannahs teeming with wildlife. You'll enter the park through Naabi Hill Gate, enjoy a picnic lunch, and continue with an afternoon game drive en route to your accommodation in the Central Serengeti. Arrive at your tented camp in time to relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for more adventure ahead.

Day 4: Game Drive Full Day in Serengeti
Early morning after breakfast at around 8:00am, or according to your preference, you will continue exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti National Park for a full day game drive. The park offers a multitude of wildlife, including the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. Hot lunch will be served inside the park at around 12:30pm with some soft drinks and unlimited drinking water.
You will have an unlimited drive until the evening, when you will drive straight to your tented camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Serengeti To Ngorongoro Crater
Today you will depart early after your delicious breakfast to Ngorongoro Crater with a game drive en route. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. It is one of the most beautiful natural wildlife safari sites in the world and an exceptional place to interact with people from the Maasai tribe. On reaching the crater’s edge, the 20 km diameter caldera opens up before you in all its stunning glory, and you will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail. This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals, including a wide range of bird species, hyenas, and the endangered black rhino. Hot lunch will be served at a picnic spot at the hippo pool, and after that you will continue to explore the crater.
After exploration you will ascend the crater and drive straight to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Lake Manyara – Arusha
After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic reserve located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and abundant birdlife—over 500 species have been recorded here. You may also see elephants, giraffes, hippos, and buffaloes during your game drive. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before driving back to Arusha, where your safari ends. If you are flying out or connecting to Zanzibar, a transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport can be arranged.
