Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our team will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. In the evening, you’ll attend a pre-trek briefing where our guides will discuss essential details about the trek, conduct a gear check, and answer any questions. It’s a day to relax and prepare for the adventure.

After breakfast, drive to Momella Gate (1,500m/4,921ft) for registration. Begin your trek through lush montane forest, covering approximately 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) over 4 to 5 hours to Miriakamba Hut (2,500m/8,202ft). Keep an eye out for various wildlife, including monkeys and colorful birds along the way.

Trek from Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut (3,570m/11,712ft), covering about 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) in 3 to 4 hours. As you ascend, enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and the unique alpine vegetation. Arrive at Saddle Hut, where you can relax and enjoy the stunning vistas of the peak.

Wake up early for your summit attempt! Depart from Saddle Hut around midnight to reach the summit of Mount Meru (4,566m/15,200ft). The trek to the summit takes approximately 5 to 6 hours, followed by a descent back to Saddle Hut for a well-deserved rest. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the summit, and celebrate your achievement.
